Building a Sovereign Robotics Production Stack
It is said that a country that cannot make it's own cars is not a real country. It is the core industry that supports a fractal of subcomponent manufacturers across all states, it is a critical organ of the national economy, and it supports small businesses and communities everywhere. Without it the industrial base withers, and with it, the country. General purpose robots are to the 21st century what automobiles were to the 20th.
Robots will do the myriad, ill defined work in the physical world. What automobiles and aviation do for transportation, robotics will do to everything else. To dominate this industry you need to build the stack from the ground up.
